Yoga is a way of getting to know ourselves that is intimate and powerful. Moving the body (Asana), tracking and guiding the breath (Pranayama), and training the mind (Samatha) are the primary modes of exploration. I believe that the scope of the yoga practice can be much wider than simply making shapes and movements with our bodies. I encourage everyone I work with to explore deeply the interaction between body, breath, thoughts, and feelings. 

Yoga is an incredibly adaptable practice, and every private session is customized to meet the needs of the practitioner. Whether you are looking for a renewed experience of your body's strength and fluidity, hoping to develop tools to work with anxiety and stress. or seeking the steadiness of mind that comes from meditative practice, we will work together to create a space to explore whatever arises.

Private sessions can be scheduled at your convenience in your home, my home practice space, or at one of the studios at which I teach. Sessions start at $140 for an hour+. Please inquire for package deals or to discuss need-based concerns. I believe that yoga should be accessible to all and will do my best to accommodate a variety of budgets, including guidance for finding free and donation-based classes.
